Event Details

Against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic and the plethora of news surrounding the mystery of COVID-19, this course is a virtual exploration into the world of viruses. We will be establishing a strong understanding of viruses and dive in to examine SARS-CoV-2 from biological and societal perspectives. Students will examine the virus’s mechanism of action and how it interacts with the human body. Students will learn about the upcoming COVID-19 vaccines and how scientists use viruses in both scientific and medical advancements.
