Event Details

The Friends of the La Jolla/Riford Library announce an exciting concert of all-Armenian classical music for voices and instruments. This first-time, cross-border collaboration between the Krounk String Quartet from Baja California and Musica Vitale, Coronado's professional choir, will offer choral and instrumental works by Komitas, Altunyan and Khachaturyan, conducted by Musica Vitale Artistic Director Elena Vizuet. The concert will be introduced by Dr. William Propp, professor emeritus of Near Eastern history at the University of California, San Diego.
