Local author Jack Innis will present three stories from his book, San Diego Legends. First, a Kumeyaay First People’s tale about a beetle outwitting a hungry coyote. Next hear about the William Randolph Hearst murder mystery. Finally, one of San Diego’s most endearing tales, the Legend of La Loma, lone survivor of an 18th century shipwreck who was raised by our community.

Jack is a San Diego Press club award-winning journalist who has written extensively on the weird and wonderful history of San Diego.
