Program Description

Event Details

During the month of July, Waldo will be hiding at all 36 San Diego Public Library locations, including ours. (More info about July's Where's Waldo Hunt will follow in the next few weeks.) In honor of the month-long Waldo search, Mission Valley Library is hosting a button design contest. Kids ages 5-18: Design a button to represent our library location! The winning design will be chosen to become a collectible button, which we'll pass out during July to everyone who finds Waldo at our library.

To participate in the design contest, download the PDF template (look to the right-hand side of this page, above "Contact Info") and submit your design in person to the Mission Valley Library's front desk by Friday, May 25th, at 5pm. (Please note that submissions will not be returned.) Alternatively, you can email a high quality 8.5'' x 11'' PDF of the template to mjeffery@sandiego.gov. The winner will be announced by June 1. Have fun and good luck!

UPDATE: CONGRATULATIONS TO MOLLY, AGE 9, FOR DESIGNING THE WINNING BUTTON!
