From the struggle for suffrage to the push for the Equal Rights Amendment, women have fought for every human right since the beginning of our country. And, who helped to make these rights a reality? Learn all about these courageous women from the beginning of our nation to the present with Anne Hoiberg, WMC Board President.

This program is presented by the Women's Museum of California whose mission is to educate and inspire current and future generations about the experiences and contributions of women by collecting, preserving, and interpreting the evidence of that experience. The Museum engages its mission through an active calendar of originally curated and exhibits, educational programs, and community events. Visit them for a slate of exciting activities all year long celebrating the passage of the 19th Amendment.
