Venerable Man Kuang is one of the editors of the 20 volume Encyclopedia of Buddhist Arts, published in 2013 by the Buddhist monastic order Fo Guang Shan and found in libraries around the world. It's the first comprehensive compilation of Buddhist art in the world covering architecture, grottoes, sculpture, paintings, crafts, and calligraphy. About Venerable Man Kuang:
Venerable Man Kuang graduated from the City University of New York and was ordained at Hsi Lai Temple in Los Angeles. Under the guidance of the Founding Master of Fo Guang Shan, Venerable Master Hsing Yun, Venerable Man Kuang has served in the International Department, Editorial Department and Buddhist College at the Headquarters of Fo Guang Shan. Venerable Man Kuang has taught English, Buddhism theories, Buddhist arts, and the history of Indian and Chinese Buddhism at the Buddhist College in Fo Guang Shan and at the Buddha Museum in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. She is currently the abbess of the International Buddhist Progress Society in Dallas.
