Welcome to the 3rd Annual Short Story Contest sponsored by the Friends of San Diego Central Library. The Contest is a continuation of San Diego Public Library's support for local writing. It is organized in order to shine a spotlight on local writers who write short stories. 

Registration opens March 2 and ends on April 3, or until 75 entries have been received.

Top 3 winners will receive monetary prizes, publication of their story on the library website, and a public live performance of their works by Write Out Loud.
