Description of Event
Silayan Filipina National Organization is a 501(c)(3) organization, a Filipina-American women's service organization dedicated to educational outreach, community service and cultivation the Philippine heritage. This dynamic sisterhood builds networks and relationships between multi-generations, fosters professional development and personal growth and strives to positively impact society by empowering our members, providing positive women role models and participating in community service.
We will be having an Alzheimer's Awareness Community workshop to discuss and focus on our aging parents facing Alzheimer's and Dementia related diseases. This event is open to the public and free for attendees.
