Event Details

Travel the world through different art techniques and styles on the second Saturday of each month, alongside professional artist Mel Clarkston. We will learn fun facts about the subject matter and incorporate the elements of art and design into projects that are fun for each member of the family. All skill levels are welcome and all supplies are provided!

December 11th: "Swedish Dala Horse- Folk Art Painting" 

We will explore line and color as we create an acrylic painting of a traditional carved wooden horse. We will learn about the practice of folk art painting and also have the option of adding some modern embellishments with glitter glue and jewels! 

Geared to kids in Grades K+ and their caregivers. Limit 15.  Register below. This program will now be held at the La Jolla Rec Center.
