Read the 2020 KPBS One Book, One San Diego selection “They Called Us Enemy,” a graphic novel by George Takei, et al., and then join a lively and though-provoking Zoom book discussion.  Copies available to place holds for pick up at a selected pick-up branch location.

"Takei's firsthand account of years spent in a Japanese concentration camp, the joys and terrors of growing up under legalized racism, his mother's hard choices, his father's faith in democracy, and the way those experiences planted the seeds for his astonishing future."

This book discussion club for adults generally takes place every third Tuesday of the month with a different book selection each month.
