Event Details

Join Mrs. Claudia from the San Ysidro Library and her sweet canine guest, Leyla, for a special multi-lingual storytime, in Spanish and sign language, celebrating National Dog Day/Día Nacional del Perro this month!  Mrs. Claudia will read 2 delightful, fun-wagging dog-themed books:  Hello Goodbye Dog (Hola Adios Perro) and Fetch ( ¡Busca! ).  Young children and their dogs will enjoy these cheery "tails" that take place at school and at the beach.

Thank you to Roaring Book Press/Macmillan for allowing us to share Zara's dog, Moose in Hello Goodbye Dog and also to Simon & Schuster for letting us share Fetch, where a dog’s game of fetch becomes an exploration of the natural environment.
