Join us in celebrating Korean American Heritage Month and the Year of the Tiger! The whole family is welcome to join in for this event. It will feature specially-themed crafts, multiple photo opportunities and finishes off with a dance performance by the San Diego Korean American Folk Dance Association.

There will even be a fun game hosted by the Korean Cultural Center of Los Angeles with special goodies will be given to participants and the big winner! We thank them for their support in bringing our Korean American heritage programming to the San Diego Public Library.

Discover more about Korean American Heritage this January in celebration of Korean American Day! On January 13, 1903, the first Koreans arrived on America's shores. Now, over one hundred years later, the Korean American population is the largest outside of Korea and is influencing everything from food, to music to fashion.
