Today, Erin from University Heights Library will be reading "Sewing the Rainbow: A Story about Gilbert Baker & the Rainbow Flag," written by Gale E. Pitman & illustrated by Holly Clifton -Brown, with special permission from Magination Press.

This is a wonderful tale about the life of Gilbert Baker, a rainbow champion & LGBTQ+ civil rights pioneer, & the story behind Gilbert's creation of the first rainbow flag, the symbol of hope & pride that came to represent the LGBTQ+ Civil Rights Movement.
