New York Times bestselling author, Caitlin Rother, will discuss and sign her book DEAD RECKONING, about the murder of Tom and Jackie Hawks by transgender killer Skylar Deleon, who tied the couple to an anchor and threw them overboard near Newport Beach. Rother recently re-issued the book with 30 pages of fresh materials to reflect changes in the prison system, and on death row in particular, to provide taxpayer-subsidized hormones and gender confirmation surgery.

Rother has written or co-authored 13 books, from narrative nonfiction crime to mystery and memoir. Also a writing-research coach-consultant and TV commentator, Rother is presently working on two books, one about the Rebecca Zahau death case, and one about the San Diego Zoo's Frozen Zoo.
