In honor of SDPL's Centennial Celebration Series and recognition of Latinx Heritage Month we are proudly presenting an author talk and conversation with San Diego authors Rita Sanchez and Sonia Lopez. Join Professors Sanchez and Lopez for a virtual book discussion on Chicana Tributes: Activist Women of the Civil Rights Movement. The book features many of San Diego's notable Chicana women. What was their impact on and contribution to women's voting/civil rights and social justice in the local San Diego community? To find out, join us for a live conversation and Q & A afterwards.
