Description of Event
Citizens Climate Lobby monthly national teleconference and meeting, San Diego South Chapter.
Our group meets monthly to listen to a presentation from an academic, politician, economist, or other person working to address climate change. We advocate a carbon Fee and Dividend approach to use the carbon pricing in the economy to end reliance on fossil fuels, while protecting consumer pocketbooks by returning the fees as a household dividend. We share lobbying strategies, and encourage letter writing and other public awareness actions.
