San Diego Coineers Coin Club Meeting

On Tuesday, February 8, we will convene in the North University Community Branch Library at six o’clock. Although the official address is 8820 Judicial Drive, remember to turn West on Research Place and follow the short winding road to the library. For those that haven’t joined us yet at our new venue, once you walk through the main entrance to the library, our meeting room is directly to your right after you pass the Security check point.
If you have yet to pay your dues for the current year, we remain poised to collect your $6 dues for 2022. Last month Andrew and Richard were sworn in for another year, but since President Wayne Joy was out sick, he will be sworn into office by Richard at the meeting.
The theme for February is ANTEBELLUM AMERICA. You are therefore invited to bring in for Show & Tell any of your coins minted before 1861, representing American coinage struck before the onset of the Civil War.
Treats will be provided, and we give thanks to Debbi for providing us with scrumptious home baked goodies. Since the library closes at 8 o’clock, we need to conclude our business and adjourn by 7:45. We will therefore be bringing the meeting to order promptly at six o’clock to ensure sufficient time to carry out the items on the agenda for our meeting. We hope to see everyone for our meeting this next week, Tuesday February 8th.
