Award winning author, Isabel Allende takes us through a captivating historical journey through 20th century Spain with her novel, Largo Petalo del Mar/A Long Petal of the Sea.

During the Civil War of Spain in 1938, many immigrants left their country. Among them is Roser Bruguera, whose life is intertwined with Victor Dalmau, a young army doctor. Together they move to Chile aboard the “Winnipeg.” The story depicts the struggles of those starting a new life with nothing but self-assurance to guide them through the unknown.

La Galardonada autora Isabel Allende nos lleva a través de un cautivador viaje historico a través de la España de siglo XX con su novela Largo Petalo de Mar/ A long Petal of the Sea. Durante la Guerra civil de España en 1938, muchos inmigrantes abandonaron su país. Entre ellos se encuentra Roser Bruguera, cuya vida se ve entrelazada con la de Victor Dalmau, un joven médico del ejército. Juntos se trasladan a Chile a bordo del “Winnipeg”. La historia describe las luchas de quienes comienzan una nueva vida con nada más que la Fe en sí mismos para guiarlos a través de lo desconocido.
