Description of Event
The La Jolla Library Art Committee is pleased to announce the upcoming exhibit of contemporary art by Krista and Kathy Schumacher. The title of the show is “Connected: Two Artists, Two Coasts”. Krista Schumacher is an artist based here in La Jolla and Kathy Schumacher is an artist based in Florida. Their art has been featured at events in Southern California such as Ferrari of San Diego and the La Jolla Art & Wine Festival, as well as events from coast to coast. There will be approximately 30 works of art from abstract landscapes to representational florals and many capture coastal themes. The exhibit will be up from February 6 through April 22. We look forward to welcoming both artists for our opening reception on Sunday, February 23, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM in the La Jolla Library gallery.
