Event Details

Join us for an interactive & thought-provoking virtual youth author program featuring Pushcart Prize-nominated poet Megan E. Freeman as we celebrate her middle grade novel-in-verse ALONE.

Perfect for fans of Hatchet and the I Survived series, ALONE tells the harrowing story of a young girl named Maddie who wakes up one day to find herself utterly alone in her small Colorado town.

Together with Megan E. Freeman, we will explore the ideas that inspired the book and challenge readers to think about how they might respond to some of the situations Maddie faces in the story.

Perfect for youth ages 9-12 & teens ages 13-17.

Three lucky participants will receive a free signed copy!
