Program Description

Event Details

Although garden space may be expensive and limited in the city, there are simple ways to grow plants even living in an apartment building. Nathan Lou, Executive Director of Mongol Tribe, will share methods for successfully using the extra room on your balcony or patio to grow healthy food at home. We will discuss container and plant selection, fertilizers and water frequency, and much more. This in-depth presentation will inspire and empower you to begin gardening!

Nathan Lou is a San Diego native and urban farmer on a mission to restore food and medicine sovereignty. He is the co-founder of Mongol Tribe a 501(c)(3) founded in 2018. Mongol Tribe bridges wholistic health and wellness with civic ecology.
