My Live Interactive Video Preschool/Kindergarten Storytimes, good for kids ages 4 to 6, are fun, kinetic, and humorous experiences!  I make it a point not just to read books, but to perform them as well!

Free Digital Literacy Classes presented by the San Diego Futures Foundation and the SD Access 4 All Initiative. Our February series focuses on Word. Classes are held every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

AARP Tax Preparation. Please bring all necessary documents. By appointment only, in-person only.

Kids in 3rd - 6th grade can join us at Kensington-Normal Heights Branch Library for the STEAM Club Tall Tower Challenge on February 14th at 4:00pm. We will explore engineering by building a tower with provided materials.

STEAM every Tuesday afternoon as we take on a unique STEAM activity!  All supplies provided.  Grades K—5^th.

Have you always wanted to learn how to play chess or improve your skills? If you have never played before, or are just looking for someone to practice with, join us for some friendly competition!  All supplies are provided.

Celebrate Valentines day with us! We will have themed music, crafts, treats and a photo backdrop for family and loved ones photos! Come dressed to impress for our photo wall! Red and pink clothes are encouraged. No registration required. 

Celebrate Black History Month by screening award-winning films featuring African-American actors.

Synopsis

Bring your ideas to life at our Mobile Maker Lab in the Mission Hills-Hillcrest Library. Learn to use various programs and equipment  such as our 3D printer and die cut machine powered by Silhouette Studio.

Come celebrate Valentine’s day with your partner or yourself at the library by making an adorable succulent arrangement. Watch your lovely plants grow as you water them with love.

Join us every Tuesday from 5 pm-6 pm for Create! At the Library, featuring a new craft each week. This program is for youth aged 5-11, that will develop fine motor skills and creativity. 

Aryn Rannazzisi leads a gentle paced class combining breath work and postures (asanas) to promote strength, flexibility and balance. This all-level class will include inversions, back bends and sun salutations.

Bring your kiddos in their pajama finery and come on down to the library to hear the story stylings of Ms. Sandy!  She might even wear some pajamas too!
