Join Children’s Librarian Miss Julie for stories, songs, fingerplays, and lots of fun!

Join us in the library's spacious community room where we can all safely space out for a Storytime with Miss Melissa or Miss Jennifer appropriate for preschoolers.

Join us for stories and songs on the lawn every other Wednesday in August! Bring chairs or a blanket to sit on, sunscreen, and whatever else you and the little ones need to have some literacy fun at the library. We can't wait to see you!

Get Ready to Read!

Story times are back at Logan and we're excited to have you join us!

All story times will take place in the community room to provide enough space for all of our friends!

This bilingual program is designed for preschool children to experience both English and French in a fun, engaging setting. During each session, we will read stories and sing in both languages. 

Ages 18 months - 2 years

Get moving at this active storytime full of books, songs, movement and fingerplays. 

Ms. Kelly will share stories, songs, puppets and more with children ages 0-2. Older siblings are welcome! Please bring a blanket to sit on the grass.

The Mission Valley Branch Library has partnered with Rady Children’s Hospital’s Healthy Development Services/Children’s Care Connection (C3) and First 5 San Diego to present the Baby Steps class series!

This month's discussion is The Measure of a Man: A spiritual Autobiography by Sidney Poitier. Here is Poitier's own introspective look at what has informed his performances and his life.

RoboThink kids will work on building fun video games while learning the most important coding concepts (loops, variables, and conditionals) in a fun way, using colorful Scratch coding blocks instead of a plain text-based programming code.

Crafting is fun for all ages. Bring your little ones to the library for some age appropriate arts and crafts.  It encourages creativity, practices fine and large motor skills and facilitates expression. Come join us!
