Do You dare Enter the Haunted Library? For a limited time only our community room will be transformed into an underworld of ghouls, ghosts and aliens! Open all Friday 10/26 9:30am to 6pm, Saturday 9:30am to 6, and Monday 10/31 11:30am to 8pm.

A Mah Jong Group for adults is meeting every Monday and Thursday from 1:00pm-3:30pm. Knowledge of American Mah Jong rules is required to play. Please bring your own Mah Jong tiles if possible.

This is an in-person, outdoor event at the San Diego Central Library. Masks are required and social distancing protocols will be followed.

A quiet and dedicated room for kids to do their homework.  Dedicated homework coach is on hand to assist kids and keep them on task. 

A fun introduction to theatre movement for young dancers! This class will focus on musicality, movement and most importantly-FUN! Dancers will develop body awareness, musicality, and explore creativity through movement.

Join the Legler Benbough Teen IDEA Lab for Maker Mondays, every Monday from 4-5 pm. Each week the IDEA Lab team will focus on a different design and creativity project and will highlight a piece of awesome technology found within our amazing lab.

Come paint ceramic pumpkins, do an escape room, enter our costume contest and watch scary movies this Halloween. For ages 12-18. Costumes are optional. 4-6 PM doors open, 5 PM judging. Pauline Foster Teen Center.

Join Mr. Erni Halloween Night for stories, songs, puppets, bubbles and more! It can be a quick warm-up before you go trick-or-treating!  Recommended for ages 0-5. Please bring a blanket to sit on the grass.

Kids can enjoy being creative by building with LEGO blocks and DUPLO bricks. It's a great opportunity for exploring with new ideas, as well as sharing concepts and strategies with other attendees.

Come for a fun family film event. There will be snacks!

Come by the Tierrasanta Library for some Halloween fun. Dress up in your favorite costume and join us for crafts, special treats* and a chance to win a prize when you spin the Halloween Prize Wheel.

Join us for pajama storytime with...sign language basics to foster early literacy skills.

This program is offered inside in our Community Room, and no registration is required.

Come join us with your little ones at the Mountain View/Beckwourth Branch Library in the children's area for pajama storytime. Have your kids come in their pajamas and enjoy stories/educational learning and songs by your local librarian. 

Put on your favorite PJs and join Ms. Carrie in the Community Room Monday evenings for a pajama storytime.

Pajamas are encouraged, but not required. No sign up required.

Put on your pajamas, grab your favorite stuffed animal and head to the library for storytime.

Synopsis

Three 17th-century witches, hanged for their murderous crimes, are resurrected on Halloween in modern-day Salem by an unsuspecting boy, who must now figure out how to get them back in the ground.
