The FIFA Football World Cup

Join us in this storytime that geared towards toddlers and their parents. Enjoy new and classic stories of all kinds and get ready to learn fun fingerplays and lapsits to use not only at the library but at home too!

Signing fun with songs, stories, and fingerplays as well as tips for using sign language as a preverbal communication tool with your baby. Geared to ages 0+.

Stop in for one on one assistance with your technology questions or for assistance in applying for low/no cost computers or Internet.  

Mindful meditation can help lower heart rate, respiration, blood pressure, and stress.  Instructors from the Healthy Adventures Foundation will lead participants in meditative breathing, a contract/relax exercise, and guided imagery.  At

A Mah Jong Group for adults is meeting every Monday and Thursday from 1:00pm-3:30pm. Knowledge of American Mah Jong rules is required to play. Please bring your own Mah Jong tiles if possible.

This is an in-person, outdoor event at the San Diego Central Library. Masks are required and social distancing protocols will be followed.

Improve your computer skills or learn how to navigate the internet.  The Access 4 All Express offers FREE in-person classes for people of all skill levels.  Don't have a device?  One can be provided to you free during the class, or

A quiet and dedicated room for kids to do their homework.  Dedicated homework coach is on hand to assist kids and keep them on task. 

A fun introduction to theatre movement for young dancers! This class will focus on musicality, movement and most importantly-FUN! Dancers will develop body awareness, musicality, and explore creativity through movement.

Join us every Monday for LEGO Power Hour! Build your own creations to display in our library.  Program will take place in our study rooms 3 and 4. 

Join the Legler Benbough Teen IDEA Lab for Maker Mondays, every Monday from 4-5 pm. Each week the IDEA Lab team will focus on a different design and creativity project and will highlight a piece of awesome technology found within our amazing lab.

Get free homework assistance provided by teen and adult volunteers on a drop-in basis on Monday afternoons. No appointment necessary!

Kids can enjoy being creative by building with LEGO blocks and DUPLO bricks. It's a great opportunity for exploring with new ideas, as well as sharing concepts and strategies with other attendees.

This program is offered inside in our Community Room, and no registration is required.

Put on your favorite PJs and join Ms. Carrie in the Community Room Monday evenings for a pajama storytime.
