Join Miss Helene, the Youth Services Librarian, on a late summer morning in the cool of the library as we begin to welcome the fall season, for this Wednesday morning program as we read, sing, dance, and play at the Baby & Toddler Storytime!&n

Join us on the Taylor Greene to sing, dance, and move along to favorite kids songs.

Join Children’s Librarian Miss Julie for stories, songs, fingerplays, and lots of fun!  This program is designed for children ages 2-4.

In this highly interactive, music-based storytime program, children have the opportunity to play musical instruments, learn beats with rhythm sticks, and dance and move to the sounds. All ages are welcome to attend.

Each week we will practice our early literacy skills by:

Learn signs to use with your child! Signing fun with songs, stories, and finger plays as well as tips for using sign language as a preverbal communication tool with your little one.

Do you like to take photos with your smart phone? Want to learn more about how to edit and create fun pictures? Each week we’ll capture different theme and critic each person’s unique style.

Presented by Write Out Loud San Diego, "StoryBox" is the American name given to the Japanese storytelling tradition called kamishibai.

Join us in the library's spacious community room where we can all safely space out for a Storytime with Miss Melissa or Miss Jennifer appropriate for preschoolers.

Join in as we read, sing, dance, and play at Toddler Storytime!  Come and build essential early literacy skills and foster a love of reading. Designed for children ages 1-3.

Join Ms. Carrie, on Zoom, Wednesday mornings for virtual stories, songs, and fun that foster early literacy skills.

We will pass out "tickets" right before storytime.

Dance, sing, laugh, and enjoy engaging stories with Carrie The Librarian! This program is recommended for ages 2-5 but all ages are welcome at this fun weekly program. 

Mind and Body Fitness is done mostly standing or in a chair. No mats required.
Space is limited to 25 people per class.

Be sure to get to the library a little early, this class fills up fast!

This bilingual program is designed for preschool children to experience both English and Spanish in a fun, engaging setting. During each session, we will read stories and sing in both languages. 

Ages 0-3

Join us for story time, healthy snacks, and play time geared for young children and their caregivers.  This special time is dedicated to early literacy, fine motor skills, and problem solving through play.  

Toddler Story Time in Kensington Park will be held at 10:30am. There will be stories, songs, and bubbles! Join the fun!

It is how it sounds: Show & Tell!  Every child has the opportunity to share something in the course of the program!  If your child isn't much of a speaker yet, no worries!  He can show everyone

Tech on the Go

Learn to make your very own DIY Gemstone Soap!  All materials provided. Attendance is limited to adults.
