Free Digital Literacy Classes presented by the San Diego Futures Foundation and the SD Access 4 All Initiative. Our January series focuses on Word. Classes are held every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Baby Play & Learn is designed to support the development of children ages 0-24 months. This program includes stories, rhymes, songs, and movement activities  followed by an open play time.

Come one, come all to this story time designed for little ones and their caregivers. Enjoy songs, rhymes, and books with captivating illustrations. 

Michelangelo was an Italian High Renaissance sculptor, painter, architect and poet. We will take a look at his life and work considered by some scholars to be one of the greatest artists of his age and perhaps all time.

Our Crochet-Along meets every first and third Tuesday of the month starting January 2024. A crochet-along is when a group of crocheters all work on the same project at the same time.

Never used a computer before or have very little experience? Learn basic computer skills on one of our computers with guidance from one of our staff.

What’s almost as much fun as reading a great book? Talking about a great book! Join us for a monthly session where we’ll discuss the book choice for the month and do a related craft together.

Read, discuss, and outline the “ingredients” of a short myth.

Participants will then work with a Teaching Artist to outline a short myth based on your their experience or idea, and then get writing!

Bring your ideas to life at our Mobile Maker Lab in the Mission Hills-Hillcrest Library. Learn to use various programs and equipment  such as our 3D printer and die cut machine powered by Silhouette Studio.

What better place to record "where you come from" than your very own junk journal.  All materials will be supplied to create your one-of-kind journal...all you need to bring is the inspiration.
