Bernard Ellorin, PhD, will explore the music of Southeast Asia, a region known for the conservation of indigenous, colonial, and post colonial heritages.
In honor of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we will host a 20 minute performance of Kuchipudi, a traditional dance form originating from the Andhra Pradesh region of India.
Join us at the Kensington-Normal Heights Library for a Free Persian Music Concert in the park. The music will be jazz inspired with a Persian flair. There will be a mix of Eastern and Western Instruments. This is a monthly music series.
