Join Miss Julie for a special storytime about the importance of water safety.  Children will learn that they should stay away from water unless they are with an adult.  This free program is sponsored by the Prevent Drowning Found

In this highly interactive, music-based storytime program, children have the opportunity to make music, learn beats, and dance and move to the sounds. All ages are welcome to attend.

Learn signs to use with your child! Signing fun with songs, stories, and finger plays as well as tips for using sign language as a preverbal communication tool with your little one.

Join us in the library's spacious community room where we can all safely space out for a Storytime with Miss Melissa or Miss Jennifer appropriate for preschoolers.

Join us on the Cass Street Plaza outside the library as we make art.  Everyone will get one section of the sidewalk to work on the create their masterpiece.

Dance, sing, laugh, and enjoy engaging stories with Carrie The Librarian! This program is recommended for ages 2-5 but all ages are welcome at this fun weekly program. 

Sensory play. Join us outside to play with our new sensory tables. Mud play, sand play, and more! Program takes place in the backside of our patio.

Mind and Body Fitness is done mostly standing or in a chair. No mats required.
Space is limited to 25 people per class.

Be sure to get to the library a little early, this class fills up fast!

Activities are designed for school age children.  Young kids may require parent assistance.

Join us every Wednesday at the Ocean Beach Library to read to DK, our bearded dragon or Darwin, our Ball Python. Practice your skills and gain confidence by reading to these enthusiastic and non-judgmental reptiles.

Join us for story-inspired stretches, music, and child-friendly props! We conclude by using our breath to transition from silly to calm. Please bring a mat or towel.

Ages 3-8.  

Sign up for a fun painting class while you enjoy light refreshments. Participants will be directed at each step as they work on completing a pretty piece of art to take home.
