Looking for a cool space to get away from the summer heat?

Do you love competitive board game classics like Jenga, Dominoes, Uno, Monopoly, or maybe relaxing by working on a jigsaw puzzle? Drop by the Legler Benbough Teen IDEA Lab with your friends this summer from June to August and play!

Join us for a Japanese storytelling tradition called kamishibai. (Kami = paper; shibai = theatre).

Join us on the Taylor Greene to sing, dance, and move along to favorite kids songs.

Join Children’s Librarian Miss Julie for stories, songs, fingerplays, and lots of fun!  This program is designed for children ages 2-4.

In this highly interactive, music-based storytime program, children have the opportunity to make music, learn beats, and dance and move to the sounds. All ages are welcome to attend.

Learn signs to use with your child! Signing fun with songs, stories, and finger plays as well as tips for using sign language as a preverbal communication tool with your little one.

Join us in the library's spacious community room where we can all safely space out for a Storytime with Miss Melissa or Miss Jennifer appropriate for preschoolers.

The two sessions are exactly the same. Ms.

Dance, sing, laugh, and enjoy engaging stories with Carrie The Librarian! This program is recommended for ages 2-5 but all ages are welcome at this fun weekly program. 

Library Craft for All is an art and crafts program for adults with special needs.  People of all abilities are welcome to participate in this event. Join us to make a Pom Pom Starfish Craft using cardstock paper, pom poms and glitter glue.

Sensory play. Join us outside to play with our new sensory tables. Mud play, sand play, and more! Program takes place in the backside of our patio.

Mind and Body Fitness is done mostly standing or in a chair. No mats required.
Space is limited to 25 people per class.

Be sure to get to the library a little early, this class fills up fast!

Toddler Story Time in Kensington Park will be held at 10:30am. There will be stories, songs, and bubbles! Join the fun!

Build your own bubble wand out of beads and a pipe cleaner and mix your own bubble solution out of soap, water, and glycerin.  Then get outside and enjoy making bubbles! (For ages 5 and up).

The Teen IDEA Lab is a space to be used for creative projects that require specialized equipment and software.

A Summer Reading Program. Join us for a garden tea party! 

We will be completing a different Summer Reading Challenge badge every month.

Come join us for Lego Club on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 4pm - 5pm! The library provides the Lego for creative free build. Creations are displayed at the library for 2 weeks. All materials must stay at the library.

The purpose of these Logan Heights Community Development Corporation coordinated meetings is to bring residents' voices together about issues happening in the area.

Community members with a basic grasp of English language can have fun themed conversations and build relationships with one another. We will talk about ourselves, our cultures, and more.
