Join us for bilingual English/Mandarin Chinese stories and songs with Ms. Danning at the library. All ages welcome. The storytime will be once a month, from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the library's Community Room

Description of Event

Students ages 8-14 will engage in an exciting, hands-on robotics program to help them prepare to take part in First Lego League (FLL) or First Tech Challenge (FTC).

Saturday is story time in Kensington Park. Bring a blanket to sit on and get ready for stories, songs, and bubbles! Recommended for ages 1-5. Older siblings are welcome to join in on the fun!

Join us every Saturday from 10am-noon for Lego and Rokenbok Club! Patrons will be able to build at their own pace.

We will provide a lego square to build on and patrons can continue to build on it week after week. 

Practice your reading skills with a fluffy friend! Participants learn how to be safe around animals as they improve their reading skills.

Come and play chess with other families in the area! Level UP Enrichment is hosting a FREE chess club, providing boards, pieces, and one of our great instructors to help you level UP your chess!

The City of San Diego and the San Diego Futures Foundation are offering FREE Digital Navigator drop-in services.

The Digital Navigator Program offers free, one-on-one assistance to help improve computer skills or get basic tech support. Digital Navigators are multi-lingual and are tech experts who are available to answer your "How to ....." questions.

Comic Art Creation Workshop

Do you like manga and anime? Join us every Saturday in the Teen’s Area of the Mira Mesa Library for fun activities and a chance to discuss your favorite titles with other fans!

Unwind, hang out, and meet friends at PQ library's new Hangout Hub! Drop-in for a friendly game with new friends or catch up with old ones while working on your latest craft.

Join us at the Kensington-Normal Heights Library for a Free Persian Music Concert in the park. The music will be jazz inspired with a Persian flair. There will be a mix of Eastern and Western Instruments. This is a monthly music series.

Join us for this sweet Holiday Event! Children will be making their own "gingerbread" houses using graham crackers, candy, and other treats.  All materials will be provided, only a registration is needed.
