Join Ms. Lynn for a bilingual Vietnamese and English picture book storytime, followed by a craft program.  The program is for children ages 4-8 years-old. Win a prize.

Join us for a performance from famous children's singer, songwriter, and author Ralph Covert! Ralph creates fun music for the whole family to enjoy.  We hope to see you at this fun event!

A bilingual storytime in English and Spanish. Together we will enjoy songs, rhymes, and stories.

These Storytimes, good for kids ages 4 to 6, are fun, kinetic, and humorous experiences!  I make it a point not just to read books, but to perform them as well!

Travel the world through different art techniques and styles on the second and fourth Saturday of each month, alongside professional artist Mel Clarkston.

Saturday is Stay and Play in Kensington Park. Bring a blanket to sit on and get ready for music, toys, and bubbles! Recommended for ages 1-5. Older siblings are welcome to join in on the fun!   

Join us every Saturday from 10am-noon for Lego and Rokenbok Club! Patrons will be able to build at their own pace.

We will provide a lego square to build on and patrons can continue to build on it week after week. 

Enjoy some sign language fun for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers with Ms. Jennifer from Signs at Play!

The City of San Diego and the San Diego Futures Foundation are offering FREE Digital Navigator drop-in services.

Join this drop-in knitting group where knitters of all skill levels meet and knit. Bring your work in progress and share in the knitting community.

Learn to knit or bring your WIP's.  Materials will be provided. 

Join us on the second Saturday of every month at 12:30pm for Sign Language Storytime. Children and parents will have the opportunity to learn new signs, sing, read and play. 

Volunteers from AARP's Tax-Aide program will help you prepare and file your income taxes.  Saturdays through April 12, 2025.

Celebrate International Women’s Day with a hands-on workshop combining laser cutting and electronics!

Learn entry level operating instructions for computerized embroidery and sewing machines, and beginning sewing techniques. Participants will complete a felt, 4-leaf clover charm.  All materials provided. 

Celebrate Nowruz at the library! There will be a station to make your own Nowruz greeting card to send New Year's greetings to friends and family. You can decorate and paint an egg as part of the Nowruz custom.

Did you know that there are loner bees that do not belong to hives? They still help with pollination and will come to your garden if you provide them nice accommodations. Learn how to make a bee box to draw these helpers into your garden.

Do you like manga and anime? Join us every Saturday in the Teen’s Area of the Mira Mesa Library for fun activities and a chance to discuss your favorite titles with other fans!
