Weekly Children’s Storytime with Ms. Sarah

Join us in this dancing storytime that geared towards toddlers and their parents. Enjoy new and classic stories of all kinds and get ready to get all those wiggles out and dance away the jiggles and pent up energy!

Need to occupy your little one on Wednesday mornings? Come join us for our weekly Dance Pants party!

Join us for a Japanese storytelling tradition called kamishibai. (Kami = paper; shibai = theatre).

Join us on the Taylor Greene to sing, dance, and move along to favorite kids songs.

Join us for a fun and educational storytime featuring songs, nursery rhymes, and picture books. Remember, storytime (reading) is important for brain development of little ones.

In this highly interactive, music-based storytime program, children have the opportunity to make music, learn beats, and dance and move to the sounds. All ages are welcome to attend.

Learn signs to use with your child! Signing fun with songs, stories, and finger plays as well as tips for using sign language as a preverbal communication tool with your little one.

Join us as we sing songs, read simple books, do bouncy rhymes and shake our shakers! Afterwards educational toys will be available for children to play with, and caregivers can visit while supervising their children. 

Dance, sing, laugh, and enjoy engaging stories with Carrie The Librarian! This program is recommended for ages 2-5 but all ages are welcome at this fun weekly program. 

Mind and Body Fitness is done mostly standing or in a chair. No mats required.
Space is limited to 25 people per class.

Storybox Kamishibai Storytime

Before TV and comic books existed in Japan, there was kamishibai, or paper theater. 

Families are invited to enjoy engaging stories and fun songs with our Youth Services Librarian, Ms. Jackie, and her jarana.  

Join Ms Mariana as she introduces children to different cultures and traditions through books, songs, & flannel board stories.

Geared towards toddlers and preschoolers.

This is a Storytime that supports cognitive development, social development and physical growth, language development, and sensory & motor development for your child incorporating playtime. Sensory Friendly. 

Toddler Story Time in Kensington Park will be held at 10:30am. There will be stories, songs, and bubbles! Join the fun!
