In-Person

In celebration of Poetry Month, this program will, once again, present readings from the latest Poetry Annual.  This volume contains as many as 350 poems from the best poets in San Diego county.  It will include special sections for Poems from Juvenile Hall, Native Poets, Poet Laureate Poems of Resilience, and the Steve Kowit Poetry Prize 2021.  There will be a bilingual volume, Pozul, with poems written in Spanish and translated into English, and a 2021 edition of the Kids! SDPA.

The San Diego Poetry Annual is now part of the permanent collection of every college and university library in the San Diego region. Each edition is also donated to San Diego public libraries.
