Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a Japanese storytelling tradition called kamishibai (kami = paper; shibai = theater). A storyteller stands behind a little wooden theater and reveals a series of illustrations as he narrates a story, doing all the characters’ voices and the many sound effects. This program is recommended for preschool through third grade! Presented by Write Out Loud.

Please be aware of the weather, as this event will be held outside. We recommend bringing blankets, hats, water, and/or sunscreen.
