Launchpad and San Diego Libraries are teaming for an exciting week dedicated to introducing students to entrepreneurship and innovation.  Instructed by Tina Klein, Ph.D., Founder of Launchpad (The Center for Accelerating Success), this hands-on training bootcamp will run Monday through Friday, 9:30 a. m.-3:30 p.m., at the Logan Heights Branch Library.  This free camp includes: lectures from the UCSD Rady School of Business and start-up founders, a tour of UCSD's Basement innovation space, local politicians and innovators who use entrepreneurial strategies to improve their communities, site visits to local start-ups and instruction related to marketing, presentation and pitching skills.  Lastly, the week culminates with student team pitching their novel business ideas to a panel of experts.  Students participating will receive a certificate of completion from UCSD.

Meals and travel to site visits will be provided for all students.

Please Note: Tuesday March 31, 2020, all of the Libraries are closed for Cesar Chavez Day. However, the students will be meeting in front of the Logan Heights Library for the field trip! The schedule times will be the same for that day.
