Work on your flexibility, strength building and quiet your mind with functional movement practice. Participate at your own ability. Wear flexible clothing and bring any preferred yoga equipment.

Join the County of San Diego’s Vector Control Program Crew for a short educational lesson about mosquitoes, a fun story, an activity where you can use magnifiers to look at real insects, and a craft in which you can make your own mosquito headband

Baby Play & Learn is designed to support the development of children ages 0-24 months. This program includes stories, rhymes, songs, and movement activities  followed by an open play time.

Come one, come all to this story time designed for little ones and their caregivers. Enjoy songs, rhymes, and books with captivating illustrations. 

Open to the public and are free of charge. Play variety board games.

Join us at Mira Mesa Library for a special CA State Park Ranger Read Aloud Storytime! Rangers will read stories, discuss free park activities, answer questions and we will live cast a park ranger from one of our many state parks. 

Our Crochet-Along meets every first and third Tuesday of the month starting January 2024. A crochet-along is when a group of crocheters all work on the same project at the same time.

Join Bernadette with Silver Age Yoga for gentle yoga classes that can be done on a mat or seated in a chair.

All skill levels are welcome. Please bring your mat and water.

Come join us every Tuesday at 2pm for Music and Motion! This program is designed to introduce babies and toddlers to music, dance and instruments. We will learn new motor skills, shake our sillies out and sing at the top of our lungs.

Spend some time with a collection of Australia’s most popular and exotic small animals! Handlers will present and discuss the distinct traits of six animals which may include the wallaby, sugar gliders, or the blue-tongued skink!

Creative Collective promotes wellness and enrichment through art-making experience. Join our open-ended art-making program where you are free to be creative and expressive with many different forms of art!

Look! Over there! Coming out of that library! It's  . . . BOOKMAN! Using the superpower of reading, BOOKMAN has magically traveled all around the world – even into space!

Join us 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 10am-noon for Lego and Rokenbok Club! Patrons will be able to build at their own pace.

We will provide a lego square to build on and patrons can continue to build on it week after week. 

Space is limited and reservations are required. Signs ups will start on June 11. This workshop series will meet on June 25, July 9, July 16, July 23, July 30, and August 6.  

Come all lego-philes and create your own architectural masterpiece, engineering feat, or artistic expression. (For ages 3 and up).

Learn, play, and create with LEGOs!

Children can build with LEGOs and display their creations in the library.

Students will work in groups as they experience what it is like to be an engineer. They will plan, build, and test solutions to a unique challenge as they explore the scientific method and engineering process.
