Mahjong Group meets every Wednesday from 11:30am-2:30pm.

We are excited to offer 3D Printing in person! Stop by the La Jolla/Riford Library's IDEA Lab during open lab hours with your .STL file and staff will be happy to assist you.

Bring your current project and crochet along with our library staff. Want to learn how to crochet? We'll supply the materials to teach you. Stuck on a project or have questions? We'll help you with it. Knitters are also welcome!

If you are concerned about changes in your memory, the Sharp Neuro-cognitive Research Center is offering free screenings to help detect early signs of memory loss and other cognitive issues. 

Tai Chi Moving for Better Balance (Tai Ji Quan) has been shown to improve balance and mobility and reduce the risk of falls.  People of all ability levels are welcome.  This class can be conducted from a seated or standing position.&nbsp

Learn how to play ukulele! 

Fun and easy for beginners. Bring your own ukulele, or borrow one provided in class. You can join at any time. The first part of each class is for newbies.

The La Jolla Library Poetry Group meets the third Thursday of every month at the La Jolla Library from 2pm to 3pm. 

New and experienced poets come together to read and share their poems.

Chess is played by over 600 million people and is the most popular game in the world. We welcome players with all levels of chess experience from beginners to advanced. Recommended for ages 10 and up.

Join us for an hour of crocheting at the library! You can use our supplies, or bring your own projects. Ask questions, learn the basics, or talk to other crocheters while practicing the craft.
