This is a social group where you can practice your fiber craft in good company, showing off your latest projects, getting support, and make friends. All levels are welcome.

We invite you to join our Baby Dance Party, singing and dancing along with Ms. Andrea from Dance to Evolve! 

We will have songs, movement and tons of fun for your babies to dance, play, and interact! 

A 45-minute Storytime for young children including books and music with the addition of American Sign Language signs with Jennifer Duncan from Signs at Play.

Using a chair for support, you can practice yoga and receive the benefits of improved circulation, flexibility, and mobility, as well as calm your mind and renew your energy.

Stay and Play is a play group and storytime for kids age 0-5 and their adults. We especially invite nontraditional caregivers (friends, family members, and neighbors) who care for children in an informal way.

Learn strategies for adapting to daily challenges, enhancing health and well-being, and planning for the future. For individuals living withearly-stage memory loss and their care partners.

Welcome families to Stay and Play. This program is focused towards children 0-5 years old and their caregivers.

For those contemplating constructing a family tree, as well as for experienced genealogy researchers.

Volunteers are there to help guide you in your research.

No appointment necessary. First come, first served.

Would you like to learn to knit, crochet, do needlework or just spend time with other creators?

Bring your current project to work on, or if new to the hobbies, we'll help you get going!

Join us for a lovely morning of stories, movement, and friendship.

Join City Ballet of San Diego for "A Book and a Ballerina!" Enjoy listening to a read-aloud, hearing from a professional ballerina, and learning some basic dance steps.

 A class combining sitting and standing yoga exercises, working on muscle strength and balance.  We'll be learning some elements of QiGong, self-massage, deep breathing, followed with meditation at the end. 

Join the Knitting and Crochet Circle weekly Friday mornings. Learn how or improve your skills. Bring your own project for social crafting or use our materials! 

Mindful meditation helps us become aware of what is already true moment by moment. It teaches us how to be unconditionally present, no matter what it is.

All young children and their caregivers are welcome to join us for stories, songs and play. Held outdoors on the grass, bring a blanket or chair.  No Registration required. We hope to see you there

Starting November 14, program numbers will be given at the front desk at 12:30pm instead of 12pm. We limit 20 participants. We will NOT give out the program numbers earlier than 12:30pm.

Experienced and novice players welcome. An instructor will be on hand to teach you.

Throughout December, drop in anytime during the IDEA Lab's open hours to make a card, gift wrap, gift tag, or other paper crafts for the holiday season at our Card Making & Gift Wrap Station. 

Swing by the IDEA Lab during the week of December 8th to decorate your very own ugly sweater! You provide the sweater...or the shirt, the bag, the whatever...and we provide the materials!
