Weekly Children’s Storytime with Ms. Sarah

In this highly interactive, music-based storytime program, children have the opportunity to make music, learn beats, and dance and move to the sounds. All ages are welcome to attend.

Join us every Wednesday at the Ocean Beach Library to read to DK, our bearded dragon or Darwin, our Ball Python. Practice your skills and gain confidence by reading to these enthusiastic and non-judgmental reptiles.

I'll show kids how to draw basic shapes.  Then we'll add other elements to those shapes to create popular objects like people, bunnies, cars, fish, caterpillars, houses, etc..  Throughout the lessen I'll have them color parts of those ob

Get crafty at the library every week! Each week there will be a unique craft that is fun for all ages. All supplies will be provided.

All levels of Chess experience are welcome - beginners to advanced.

Baby Play & Learn is designed to support the development of children ages 0-24 months. This program includes stories, rhymes, songs, and movement activities  followed by an open play time.

Join us for our Book Club, which meets on the third Tuesday of every month.  We hope to see you there!  Copies of the book will be available at the front desk.

The Friends generally hold meetings every other month, but please call or check the monthly calendar to confirm meeting dates.
