Looking for something fun to do on a Monday afternoon? Stop by the Legler Benbough Teen IDEA Lab for Maker Mondays, happening every week from 5 to 7 PM.

Age group: Elementary school (grades 1-5)

Kids are invited to attend fun workshops involving popsicle sticks, rubber bands, glue, paper, instructor-operated hot glue, etc. to build things.

Our expert will assist with design and demonstrate how to use the 3D print design software Tinkercad. 

Geared toward children ages 7 and up, teens & adults. 

In partnership with Rainbow Spaces come grab your character sheets and get ready to roll! We're playing Dungeons and Dragons at the library so get ready to have your character's story told here!

Join us for pajama storytime with...sign language basics to foster early literacy skills.

This program is offered inside in our Community Room, and no registration is required.

Swing dance comes to the library!  Swing Dancing San Diego will lead a free introductory lesson and host a rooftop dance under the Dome!

Kiddos can put on their favorite pajamas and even grab a favorite stuffed animal and head to the library for a storytime that includes popular children's songs!

Join us for indoor Storytime at the Balboa Library. We’ll read fun stories and sing songs. There will be take-home crafts, giveaways & more! Afterwards, stay for Toddler Happy Hour.

Come join us every Tuesday at 11:30am for Music and Motion! This program is designed to introduce babies and toddlers to music, dance and instruments. We will learn new motor skills, shake our sillies out and sing at the top of our lungs.

Registration is required and space is limited. Early signup is encouraged.  Late arrivals are disruptive to the flow of the class. Please arrive on time for class as late arrivals will not be accepted.

Baby Play & Learn is designed to support the development of children ages 0-24 months. This program includes stories, rhymes, songs, and movement activities  followed by an open play time.

Come one, come all to this story time designed for little ones and their caregivers. Enjoy songs, rhymes, and books with captivating illustrations. 

Come join us for Toddler Happy Hour! Right after Storytime,  parents and caregivers with young children can come and meet their neighbors!  Age-appropriate toys and games will be provided for the little ones to play with.

 Storytime includes stories, songs, fingerplays, and a craft.
