This bilingual program is designed for preschool children to experience both English and German in a fun, engaging setting. During each session, we will read stories and sing in both languages. 

This is a Storytime that supports cognitive development, social development and physical growth, language development, and sensory & motor development for your child incorporating playtime. Sensory Friendly. 

Toddler Story Time in Kensington Park will be held at 10:30am. There will be stories, songs, and bubbles! Join the fun!

Join us every Wednesday at the Ocean Beach Library to read to DK, our bearded dragon or Darwin, our Ball Python. Practice your skills and gain confidence by reading to these enthusiastic and non-judgmental reptiles.

Join us for a late afternoon pajama storytime with an engaging seasonal theme for young children including books, music, and bubbles with the addition of American Sign Language signs presented by Jennifer Duncan from Signs at Play.

Join us for "Sign-a-Story Circle Time" with Baby Sign Language Basics author, Monta Z. Briant. Parents learn how to use ASL signs for early communication with their babies through stories, songs, and other fun activities. 

Tiny tots ages 0-2 and their caregivers will enjoy songs, stories, and rhymes that foster early literacy skills.

Bring the kiddos to the library every Thursday morning for a variety of play!  Storytime, crafts, dancing, songs and most of all FUN!

Join us for a storytime that fosters early literacy!  Features books, songs, action rhymes, and finger plays that invite participation.  Ages 1-5.  Every Thursday. 

Recommended for ages 2-5, this storytime program includes books, songs, games, and early literacy fun! A to-go craft will be provided at the end.

Kensington-Normal Heights Librarians will share stories, songs, and bubbles with children ages 3-5. Older and younger siblings welcome! Bring a blanket to sit on the grass.

The La Jolla Library Poetry Group meets the third Thursday of every month at the La Jolla Library from 2pm to 3pm.
