Description of Event
The NAACP’s Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics is a tremendous opportunity for students to develop and demonstrate their academic prowess, in 32 categories drawn from Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Culinary Arts, Business, Humanities and STEM. At the Showcase, you will see the result of months of work on the part of the students. Part Science Fair and part Performing Arts Event, the Showcase also serves as a vehicle for scoring the student’s work, to determine eligibility for scholarships and a trip to the National ACT-SO event in San Antonio.
