Description: Biopic of murdered San Francisco politician Harvey Milk, a human-rights activist and the first openly gay man elected to major public office when he won a seat on the Board of Supervisors in 1977.

This year's One Book, One San Diego selection is The Great Believers by Rebecca Makkai.
