Description of Event
This will be a short panel discussion on the care and preservation of historic buildings and antiquities and the responsibilities governments have in protecting our culture. We plan to have three or four speakers, plus a moderator. The panel will consist of archaeologists and preservationists.
We are a New York City and Rome based organization, but we are planning this event in San Diego at that time to coincide with the annual meeting of the Archaeological Institute of America and the Society for Classical Studies (taking place January 3-6 at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina).
The event will start at 6:30 and run until 8:00.
