The SDPL Tea Group will finish reading Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy on December 16. In preparation for the concluding Discussion/Tea Party on Tuesday 12/28, we're showing two cinematic adaptions of this literary classic on our big Community Room's big screen.
The basic plot of the story is: unhappy aristocrat Anna Karenina faces the tides of change in late-19th-century Russia and has an affair with a wealthy count. How the filmmakers choose to interpret the tale, though, will differ.
