Event Details

This year's Summer Reading theme is Reading Colors Your World, so let's brighten our day by virtually watching and commenting on a film together!  We'll begin our month-long series by screening The Scarlet Pimpernel.  Register online for login information.  

DESCRIPTION: An adventure tale set during the French Revolution with the authorities trying to discover the true identity of The Scarlet Pimpernel, a vigilante who rescues aristocrats from the blade of the guillotine.  Starring Leslie Howard, Merle Oberon, and Raymond Massey.  Adapted from the novel by Baroness Emmuska Orczy.
