Event Details

Join us for a Japanese storytelling tradition called kamishibai.  (Kami = paper; shibai = theatre).  A storyteller stands behind a little wooden theatre and reveals a series of illustrations as he narrates a story, doing all the characters’ voices and the many sound effects. Presented by Write Out Loud.

This program will be held in the Serra Mesa-Kearny Mesa Library’s Community Room. Masks will be required for unvaccinated individuals ages 2+. Restroom facilities will be available, but library services will be limited to contactless pickup only.
