Recycling is the first step for many people on their journey to a low waste lifestyle, but recycling rules can be tricky to remember, even for the most seasoned “zero-waster.” The recycling system throughout the City of San Diego only works if everyone does their part to keep the right materials in the blue bin and the wrong ones out!
Join I Love a Clean San Diego on Saturday, February 12 at 10 a.m. for an in depth look at what items can and cannot be recycled. Gain a better understanding of what it means to recycle right as we break down how to dispose of those hard to recycle items and why how we recycle matters. Recycling plays an important role in preventing unnecessary waste from our landfills, and our free Recycle Right Workshop is an opportunity to get informed on simple recycling best practices. We’ll be ready to answer all of your questions and make sure we are all recycling right!
