Program Description

Event Details

Is resistance really futile? What is current and how does it flow?

Kids will learn about these electronics concepts and more by participating in a virtual class and with a take-home paper circuits build. The 45-minute virtual class will be held in TinkerCAD and kids would build a virtual circuit using a battery, LED, and switch while learning about voltage, resistance, and current. Then they will apply what they learned by building a live paper circuits version.

We are partnering with Tinker the Robot to bring you this program as part of San Diego County's Remake Learning Days. The event is free. To find out more about Remake Learning Days and to register for this program, visit this link: https://remakelearningdays.org/event/paper-circuits/

When registering for the event you can provide your address to Tinker the Robot to have your kit sent to your house or you can choose to pick up the kits at the Valencia Park/Malcolm X Library. Email is required for registration because we will use it to send you the Zoom link to participate.
